XENIA — Xenia moved up one spot in the newest Ohio AP Division II state football poll released on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers are ranked in a tie for sixth this week with Wadsworth after being seventh a week ago. Xenia, one of seven 8-0 teams appearing in this week’s rankings of the 10 remaing in all of D-II, gained one additional voting point from last week. Xenia defeated Piqua 30-8 on Friday.

In the D-V rankings, Greeneview dropped one spot to seventh despite gaining four additional voting points. The Rams are also one of seven 8-0 teams in the rankings with 10 remaining across D-V. Greeneview defeated Southeastern

Both Xenia and Greeneview are receiving one first place vote.

Bellbrook maintained its spot in the receiving votes section for D-III but did gain three additional voting points. The Golden Eagles are on a seven-game winning streak.

Four Greene County teams would qualify for the postseason if it began this week.

Bellbrook, Greeneview and Xenia all rank in the top two of their respective regions. Beavercreek is maintaining its spot in Region 2 with three teams lower in the rankings.

Carroll, Cedarville and Fairborn all have work to do as they are currently outside of their respective top 16s.
