Cedarville pumped for homecoming week

CEDARVILLE — The Cedarville Indians have a huge week as they look forward to homecoming.

The homecoming court will be introduced at 6:30 p.m. This year’s CHS homecoming king and queen candidates are seniors

James Brooks, Colt Coffey, and Luke Wallis and Emma Minor, Ellie Schulte, and Nicole Awabdy.

Juniors on the homecoming court are Brooke Atkins, Elynn Morrow, Adeline Spracklen, Derek Orr, Declan Pollock, and Nate Van Loo.

Sophomores on the homecoming court are Rachel Eckstein, Katelyn Reed, Izzy Smith, Ethan Bolton, Zach Creeden, and Asher Stewart.

Freshmen on the homecoming court are Catherine Caraway, Maria Christian, Ayana Smallwood, Tavin Baldwin, Logan Joliffe, and Jackson Lee.

Along with the spirit days all week, the Indians have some significant athletic events. On Tuesday, the Cedarville volleyball team looks to go 2-0 versus its rival, Greeneview. It is the Aces For Ice Cream game, where every ace equals ice cream for the student section. Later in the week, CHS faces Madison Plains, which could affect the conference title.

The Indians finish the week in fashion with its homecoming game against Springfield Catholic Central on Oct. 4.
