XENIA — Greene County Treasurer Dick Gould welcomed Park University graduates at the 2015 Commencement held Nov. 8 at the Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center in Springfield.

Gould, a 1989 graduate of Park University, acknowledged the “untold hours and life events” that had been sacrificed by the graduates and their families while earning the degrees.

Gould reminded graduates that the degree was “really a key to your future” and shared how his own degree has assisted him with making career changes, pursuing additional education, and teaching accounting classes for 12 years at Park’s campus center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Gould concluded with his advice to “embrace this day…it’s yours…as is your future.”

The commencement address was given by Chief of Education and Training at WPAFB Michael Brimmer.

Established in 1875, Park University has 22,213 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate degree programs at 40 campuses located in 21 states and online. Park’s campus center at WPAFB in Dayton. For more information go to www.park.edu.
