BELLBROOK — The Bellbrook Lioness Club is gearing up for the holidays by hosting its Third Annual Homemade Christmas Arts & Craft Show 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Bellbrook High School located in the gym at 3737 Upper Bellbrook Road.

“This is one of the clubs two major fundraisers. We also have a gigantic garage sale in the spring. These activities provide funds for our community projects and scholarships,” Lioness Club member Jaynie Ramsey said. “It’s also a chance for the community, to meet artists and craftsman, and see the items that they’ve made.”

Each vendor is voted on by the Lioness members. Each product is selected according to their uniqueness and the quality of their product. This year, 50 vendors have been selected. Each booth is as different as the next and everything is handmade.

“We selected only the highest quality handmade products. Some of the vendors will offer mixed media paintings, designer pens, gourd art, homemade soaps, lotions, candles, stationary, purses and much more,” Ramsey said. “We strive to have available to the customers beautiful, unique and fantastic treasures to give as a gift or keep for themselves.”

Vendors will offer the latest in seasonal décor, primitive decorations, handcrafted jewelry, scarves, quilts, kid’s accessories and much more. Getting a head start on holiday shopping is the idea behind the Lioness holiday fundraiser.

“We anticipate that this year will be even bigger and better than previous years,” Ramsey said. “This event isn’t just a fundraiser for the Lioness Club, it’s also a way for the club to work together and get to know our community.”
