XENIA — Xenia Christian School has an exciting new vision to expand, improve, and grow.

In order to better meet the needs of the local community, Xenia Christian is moving toward becoming an independent Christian school beginning with the 2016-2017 school year. A steering committee has been meeting since January 2015. The group is committed and invested in the future of Xenia Christian and is eager to communicate their vision to the community.

Founded in 1967 and part of the Dayton Christian School System since 1993, Xenia Christian moved to the historic Legacy Campus in 1999 and plans s on serving Xenia and the surrounding communities for generations to come.

XC has an exemplary record in academics, according to a release from the school. It was rated in the top 10 percent of Ohio schools by Gerber Analytics. The staff and teachers have an average of 22 years teaching experience. The school provides a variety of athletic programs with teams and individuals that compete at the state level. It also excels in fine arts and is known for its exemplary musical programs conducted each year.
