BEAVERCREEK — U.S. Route 35 westbound was closed throughout Wednesday morning after a dump truck crashed into a ravine along the roadway. No injuries were reported in association with the crash.

According to our partners at WDTN 2 News, the crash occurred around 6 a.m. near North Fairfield Road in Beavercreek. Traffic was diverted at North Fairfield throughout the morning. According to a police spokesman, U.S. 35 was expected to reopen around noon.

Emergency crews on the scene reported that 5-6 gallons of diesel fuel were spilled into Little Beaver Creek. The Environmental Protection Agency was on the scene.
