February Athletes of the Month


Ray James (center) was chosen as the Edward Jones Investments Athlete of the Month for February for Xenia High School. This award is being sponsored by the office of Mike Reed at Edward Jones Investments of Xenia, serving Xenia, Jamestown, Cedarville and surrounding areas. James played on the Greater Western Ohio Conference South tri-champion boys basketball team. He was named First team GWOC South, District 9 All Star, and Honorable Mention All Southwest Ohio. He has done all of this on the court while maintaining his excellent student status.


Maggie Coe was chosen as the Edward Jones Investments Athlete of the Month for February for Cedarville High School. This award is being sponsored by the office of Mike Reed at Edward Jones Investments of Xenia, serving Xenia, Jamestown, Cedarville and surrounding areas. Coe played as a freshman on the girls basketball team. She set the school record for assists in season at 135, the school record for assists in game 14, set school record for 3-pointers in game (7) and averaged 10.3 points per game on the district runner-up team. She has done all of this on the court while maintaining a 4.0 grade-point average.
