Members of the third Fairborn High School Hall of Fame induction class were recognized prior to the Jan. 14 Fairborn High boys basketball game in the Baker Memorial Fieldhouse, in Fairborn. The 2016 class honorees were: Fred Buschmeyer Sr. (Coach); Ed McLoud (Class of 1964); Jackie Smith Whittaker (Class of 1981); Veasna Tith (1998) and the 1970 district champion boys basketball team coached by Jake Brummett with team members Steve Greene, Gary Wright, Pat White, Kirk Minteer, Jeff Taylor, Dennis Graham, Tom Carroll, Doug Schively, Brent Cartwright, Steve Fulton and Daryl Douple, Mike Brown and Pat McCoart.
