High School Action
Bellbrook tops Glen Este
BELLBROOK — Shaking off a slow start Wednesday at Lakota West High School, Bellbrook made some defensive changes at halftime and cruised to a 47-37 girls basketball win over Cincinnati Glen Este. After scoring just 12 points in the first half, the Eagles completely dominated the second half. Trailing by five going into the break, the game changed when the Eagles started applying front-court pressure, causing numerous turnovers. Junior guard Cassidy Hofacker led the Eagles with a game-high and season-high 25 points. With their fourth-straight win, the Eagles are 6-2. They played Springfield Catholic Thursday afternoon.
