This welcoming banner didn’t survive the first half of the boys high school varsity basketball game. A wayward full-court pass ripped the banner in two at the end of the first quarter, Saturday, at the Benner Field House in Xenia.

‘Xenia Bucs’ is lettered on the Benner Field House basketball court floor, which had been home to the Xenia Buccaneers basketball teams from 1939 to 1977.
