CEDARVILLE — Junior shooting guard/forward Isabelle “Ise” Bolender scored her 1,000th career point during Monday’s Cedarville High School girls basketball home game with Leesburg Fairfield.

Bolender entered the contest needing only 10 points to reach the milestone. She is only the fifth player in Cedarville High School history to accomplish this feat.

Cedarville went on to win the home contest, 66-36, behind Bolender’s game-high 21 points.

Bolender was listed as one of the Dayton Miami Valley Area’s top-100 girls basketball players heading into this 2016-‘17 season. She was named to the Associated Press All-Southwest District First Team last season.

Cedarville (4-1, 2-1 Ohio Heritage Conference) next plays at London Madison Plains at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.
