Trio voted All G-MAC

CEDARVILLE — Paulo Pinto, John Schwien and Joel Twinem have been named to the 2016 Great Midwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer first team.

Pinto, a senior goalkeeper from Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, started 14 matches for the Yellow Jackets this fall. He’s posted a 7-4-3 record with a 1.27 goals-against average. Pinto is 29-11-6 with a 0.91 GAA and 11 shutouts for his career.

Schwien, a junior midfielder from Garnet Valley, Pa., has started all 18 matches in which he’s played. He has a goal with a team-high five assists.

Both Pinto and Schwien were G-MAC second team picks in 2015.

Twinem, a senior defender from Aylmer, Ontario, has also started all 18 matches in which he’s appeared this season. He ranks second on the team in scoring with four goals and three assists for 11 points.
