Daniel Beam was chosen as the Edward Jones Investments Athlete of the Month for September for Xenia High School. This award is being sponsored by the office of Mike Reed at Edward Jones Investments of Xenia, serving Xenia, Jamestown, Cedarville and surrounding areas. Beam is a senior on the football team. Shown with XHS athletic director Nathan Kopp (left) and Mike Reed, Beam is an outstanding student and athlete. He leads in the weight room, in the locker room and on the field. He is a ‘lead by example’ -type leader. “Daniel is the type of young man that would do a favor for someone and not tell them he did it”, says his coach, Bob DeLong. “He is loyal, hardworking and industrious. Any organization with Daniel in it, is a better organization for his presence.” Beam currently has a 4.39 grade-point average.
