Cheyann McGee was chosen as the Edward Jones Investments Athlete of the Month for August at Xenia High School. McGee is a senior forward on the girls soccer team. She currently leads the team with 13 goals and 30 points. She is second on the team with four assists and has had five multi-goal games, including four goals against Greenville. Her 13 goals, four assists and 30 points is currently second among all Greater Western Ohio Conference, American South division scorers. She is ranked 10th in scoring in the entire GWOC. The two-year team captain is a well-rounded athlete as well as student with a 4.22 grade-point average, and she is a member of the National Honor Society.
