XENIA — Time is running out to save money and earn money for Xenia schools by switching to DP&L Energy.
Xenia Community Schools is contracted with DP&L Energy as its electric supplier through the Educational Purchasing Cooperative (EPC). One benefit of the agreement with DP&L Energy is the Xenia Community Schools Affinity Program, which is being offered to all eligible employees, family and friends.
DP&L Energy will give Xenia Community School employees, family and friends a discount of .2 cents per kilowatt hour from the current standard offers. The discount is available until August 12. Residents can only sign up online for the program by going to dplenergy.com/xenia.
For every home that signs up, the district will receive $20. Another $10 will be paid annually if those who switch continue to participate in the program. If you are already with DP&L Energy, you can still sign up for the Affinity program and the district will receive $10 for your participation.
