XENIA — The Cedarville University Jazz Band will present a concert 3 p.m. Sunday, March 23 at Community United Methodist Church, 100 Country Club Drive.

The program will include big band tunes of the 1940s as well as contemporary jazz numbers. The group was formed in 1989 and has received high acclaim for its quality of performances on the national scene as well. The band is directed by Professor Michael P. DiCuirci, now in his 35th years as director of bands at CU. Assistant jazz band director is Chet Jenkins. The group is a large band and vocalists. Admission is free.
