BEAVERCREEK — Greene County Parks & Trails will turn participants into a bird-feeding mannequin from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday(s), throughout the month of February, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road.

With an oversized coat, a wide brim hat and some bird seed, naturalists will attempt to have the birds feeding right out of the participant’s hand — or even off their hat..

“Participants of all ages loved this event last year,” says Greene County Parks & Trails Chief Naturalist Cris Barnett. “It’s pretty magical when you feel that first bird land on you and experience such a close, personal encounter.”

Cost is $3 per person with a maximum of ten minutes. For more information, call Greene County Parks & Trails at 937-562-6440 or email abotkin@co.greene.oh.us.
