YELLOW SPRINGS — Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Yellow Springs will host the service “Foundations: What are the roots of our UU Fellowship?” 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31. As the old calypso song goes, “a house built on a weak foundation … will not stand oh, no.” Or, if you’d rather, from Matthew 7:26, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.”

Building off last week’s ‘Survey Results and Discussion,” and some UU programs from other societies, they will playfully explore this Fellowship’s foundation and the choices faced as we build for the future.

The program presenter, Roger Husbands, a second-generation UU, has recently moved to Yellow Springs from San Francisco. An Antioch alum, Roger is here to help found and build a business incubator/accelerator for social change. All are welcome. Religious education classes are available for youth in preschool to sixth grade, beginning at 10 a.m.
