BEAVERCREEK — The Russ Nature Reserve in Beavercreek is moving closer to its June opening, most visibly through the recent installation of a sign at the park.

The 90-acre property is located at the corners of Beaver Valley and Kemp Roads. The reserve will offer hiking trails, a bee apiary, native plant prairies and a nature playscape. A fundraising campaign is currently underway through Greene Giving for a proposed nature education center at the site.

The reserve was gifted to the park agency by the late Fritz and Dolores Russ, the founders of Systems Research Laboratories (SRL) in Beavercreek.
