BELLBROOK — Summer and all its glory was celebrated recently at Spring Lakes Park in Bellbrook. Several families enjoyed the beautiful weather, fish that were biting and good company.

Spring Lakes Park outside Bellbrook on Ferry Road offers three fishing ponds that are routinely stocked with channel catfish and trout on a seasonal basis. Although a state fishing license is not required, anglers do need a GCP&T fishing permit. Permits may be purchased on-site in a self-permitting process or at the park agency headquarters, 575 Ledbetter Road, Xenia. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.
