WILBERFORCE — Central State University will raise five new international flags as a way to celebrate its international student population.

Flags representing Brazil, Egypt, France, Nigeria and Senegal will join the other international flags flying on campus during the Celebration of International Students Ceremony 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The event will be held on the sidewalk between the Charles H. Wesley Arts & Science Building and the Lionel H. Newsom Administration Building. The public is invited to attend.

Co-hosted by the Wilberforce (OH) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, the event will include an international procession showcasing all students and their country’s flag. Currently eight international flags are on display on campus grounds.
