Sing all day long as we travel this pathway. Treat everyone with love the way we want to be treated. Watch the sun come up in the morning and watch the moon as it replaces the sun as it goes down in the evening.
Strive for excellence, not perfection, for we cannot be perfect while on earth. Walk amongst the flowers, look at the beauty of a dogwood tree; compliment as many people as you can along the way.
Tell someone every day that they are loved. Leave everything just a little bit better than you found it. Keep life simple, but joyful. Think big thoughts but treasure the good small ones.
Become more positive and enthusiastic each day that you live. Don’t forget to forgive yourself and others. Say please and thank you to all that you are around. Avoid being negative and pray for the people who are.
Wear polished shoes and nice clean clothes. Try every day to improve yourself so others can see the goodness in you. Have a loving handshake or a gentle hug. Be the first to say “hello, how are you today?” Make some new friends along the way, and cherish the old ones.
Make sure you keep secrets when somebody trusts you. Sing songs as we pick some flowers along the pathway of life. Always help someone that is hurting. Wave at people in cars and kids on the school buses.
Make sure whenever someone needs you, you can comfort them. Don’t think life is fair because it’s not. Give love away, because its power is unlimited.
Don’t be afraid to say “I don’t know,” but try to give an answer if someone needs one. When you promise something, keep the promise.
Renew old friendships and make them better. Don’t forget to count your blessings day by day. There will always be some negative things in life, don’t let them get you down. Life is short, live it to the fullest, and laugh even when things go wrong.
If we do what is right, we will have a beautiful life. This is easier said than done, but it really does work. Stay on the pathway leading upward, and it will give us peace. Have good memories of yesterday. Life is good walking with the Savior. Smile, laugh, sing, dance, all the way to our eternal home.
