XENIA — The bike parade will be returning to the Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks Festival this year.

Sponsored by Anderson-Williamson Insurance, the Superhero Bicycle Parade and Contests will have cash prizes for the best decorated “superhero” bike. Child-appropriate costumes are welcomed as well, but they will not be judged. The lineup begins 5:30 p.m. at the Armory. The parade will start 5:45 and end at the Shawnee Park pavilion.

Bikes will be judged during the Mike Hemmelgarn puppet and magic show, sponsored by the Greene County Board of Disabilities/Four Oaks.

Award levels include: The ultimate superhero bike $50; four awesome superhero bikes $25; 10 amazing superhero bikes $10; and 50 fantastic superhero bikes $5.
