City names public service supervisor

XENIA — Keith Koch has been named the City of Xenia’s public service supervisor.

Koch, who had been the city’s code enforcement officer since 2013, will oversee tasks and projects related to the maintenance, repair and construction of the city’s infrastructure for parks, facilities, grounds, garage and sanitation.

Koch’s promotion — which is effective immediately — reflects a commitment by the City of Xenia to providing excellence in constituent and customer service.

“During Keith’s tenure as code enforcement officer, he performed with integrity, leadership, respect, personal and professional excellence and innovation resulting in exemplary service to the public,” Xenia Public Service Director and Engineer Chis Berger said. “In our efforts to continually elevate the city’s standards of excellence, we promoted Keith because he understands the value of working with others, delivering excellent customer service and the privilege it is to be a public servant.”

Koch previously worked as an electrician, City of Dayton firefighter, and as a code enforcement officer with the City of Kettering.
