XENIA — The Xenia High School Band Boosters held the first Zombie Fun Run October 8 at Doug Adams Stadium.

The fun was emphasized more than the run.

“It was a combination of tag, keep away, and flag football,” said Laurie Fox, band booster chair and event organizer. “We just need more time to promote it and explain to people that it’s not a 5K run, but more of a game of keep away from the zombies.”

The event is scheduled to be held again in 2017 and is a fund-raiser for the Xenia High School Band Boosters.
