XENIA — Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center will host its annual health and information fair.

Local seniors can receive free testing, information and win door prizes 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the center, 130 E. Church St. The Center is located directly across from the YMCA and the event is open to the public.

Celebrate Healthy Aging Month and National Senior Center Month by stopping by to see what the Center is all about, and educate yourself on aging resources available in Greene County.

There will be more than 20 vendors with community resource information for seniors, baby boomers and caregivers. Pick up brochures, fact sheets, booklets on everything from home health, homemaker, senior center programs, trips, special events, library resources, home energy assistance, programs, senior housing, rehab, assisted living, volunteer opportunities, Medicare and much more.

There will be health displays on oral health, balance and fall prevention and free health screenings will be available. Flu shots will be offered if you have Medicare Part B (bring your card). The event is free and open to the public.
