Blackabys celebrate 60 years

XENIA — Glenn and Phyllis Blackaby will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Aug. 31, 2016. They were married at the home of the bride’s parents in Bellbrook.

Glenn Blackaby is retired from Johnny’s Auto Parts and Clinton Electric & Plumbing after many years of service. Phyllis Blackaby is a semi-retired homemaker.

They are the parents of Kim Smith of Piqua, Mark and Shawn Blackaby and Jeff and Paula Blackaby of Xenia and Amy and Greg Layne of West Middletown. They have 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Their children invite friends, family and acquaintances to an open house celebration with Glenn and Phyllis 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 at Xenia Nazarene, 1204 W. Second St.
