BEAVERCREEK — Scout leaders are urged to attend Greene County Parks & Trails’ Scout Leader Workshop, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 23, and 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road, Beavercreek.

This two-part workshop will provide scout leaders with the confidence to teach such topics as identifying trees, poison ivy and other plants, basic knot tying, campfire building, hiking essentials and more. All training will be hands-on and interactive.

Cost is $40 per Greene County resident and $50 for non-residents.
