XENIA — Local writer Bethany Huston has followed up her successful debut with another hot-selling book.

“Dry Rain,” which chronicles the escapades of fictional Yellow Springs native Chapel Livingston, is available on Amazon.com as a Kindle download for just $.99.

The 74-page novel follows Livingston as he ditches his identity as a New York corporate junkie and moves back to the family estate in Yellow Springs. When a mysterious woman shows up at his front door late one night, he will have to face his own demons, and the lies that he’s spent his whole life protecting will be exposed. Little does he know, an awakening is about to happen.

The book is ranked among Amazon’s best sellers list.

Huston’s first book, “Shifting Sand,” was published in July 2014.
