BEAVERCREEK — Local children and young adults can explore the outdoors through a week-long nature camp set to include creekin’, fishing, critter searching, hiking, crafts and more. The “Nature on the Go” camp will run Aug. 10-14 at Russ Nature Reserve, 2380 Kemp Road.

All camps will be taught by a Greene County Parks & Trails naturalist staff member and volunteers. Campers will receive a T-shirt, a signed certificate and a camp photograph.

Attendees should bring a healthy lunch and water bottle every day. Water and restroom facilities are available at all camps. Attendees should also come prepared to explore regardless of the weather and should wear old clothes and shoes that can get wet.

Camps are designed for those ages 7-13. Day camps are held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with fees $50 for residents and $60 for non-residents.
