XENIA & JAMESTOWN – With more than 300 employees at eight facilities in Jamestown and Xenia, growth has become a common theme across the past few decades at Twist Incorporated.

The past couple years, a company official said, are no exception.

Founded in 1971 with 4,000-square-feet of manufacturing space and six employees, today Twist is one of the top five spring manufacturers in all the United States with a combined half million square feet of combined space.

“Twist Incorporated is a full metal fabricator of precision metal products with in-house finishing capabilities,” the company’s Web site says. “Our diversification affords us the facilities and capability to produce Compression, Extension, and Torsion Springs, Fourslide Products, Wire Forms, Snap Rings, Short-Run and Production Stampings, Fabricated Sheet Metal Components and Assemblies. Having internal Plating, Painting and E-Coating capability, we can control the product flow and outgoing quality levels that are extremely vital in today’s global market place. Each plant is dedicated to its own specific product to keep focus on specific manufacturing techniques necessary to satisfy the customers’ needs.”

Twist is a global supplier, shipping products ranging from springs and stamping and four-side components to India, Austria, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Mexico and China – with a large customer base in the automotive and non-automotive markets.
