Schuster hosts ‘Elf The Musical’

DAYTON — The Dayton Schuster Center kicks off the holiday season with Elf The Musical, running from Nov. 22-27. Based on the beloved 2003 film, Elf is sure to be fun for the whole family.

Elf follows the story of Buddy, a young orphan child through a crazy turn of events ends up in the North Pole with Santa. Raised as an elf, Buddy quickly realizes that he doesn’t quite fit in with his fellow elves. With Santa’s blessing, Buddy travels back to New York City for find his family and the truth about his past and along the way reignites the spirit of Christmas in the hearts of the people of New York.

Variety said, “Elf is happy enough for families, savvy enough for the city kids and plenty smart of adults.”

Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer) composed the music and songs featured in Elf.
