XENIA — The Xenia Community Library has exciting and fun programs for people of all ages. The library is located at 76 E. Market St. Some programs require pre-registration, for more information call the library 937-352-4000. Baby Story Time for ages 0-24 months with adult, 10:30-11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

Maker Fridays 1:30-3 p.m. Friday, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. Join the Maker Movement. Experiment with new technology as well as low tech making options.

Summer Story Time for ages 2-6, 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 19, 26.

Early Bookworms for ages K-3, 6-7 p.m. Tuesday July 5. Read the book prior to the program and then attend the program for a rereading with fun learning activities.

Zumba For Kids for ages 4-12, 1-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 and Monday, July 18. Join us for this high energy dance party taught by Zumba instructor Carrie Campbell! Zumba moves will be broken down into smaller steps for kids to follow along with.

Zumba for Tweens and Teens for ages 10-18, 2-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 and Monday, July 18. Join us for this high-energy dance party. It’s exercise in disguise as we workout to upbeat music.

Make a Reusable Duster for adults, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6. Make a reusable duster like a Swiffer will be held at the Xenia Community Library on . The class has a limit of 4, but additional spots are available to those who can bring their own sewing machines. Registration required.

Book Tasting 12-1 p.m. Thursday, July 7. Bring your lunch and a favorite book or two to the library. We’ll have lunch together and share our reading experiences. It’s a great way to discover future reading adventures!

Gaming and Pizza for ages 10-18, 4-5 p.m. Thursday, July 7. We’ve got the pizza. We’ve got the games. Bring your friends and be prepared to play!

Xenia Book Club for adults, 10:15-11:45 a.m. Friday, July 8. Join a friendly book discussion. Everyone is welcome!

Introduction to 3D Printing 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9. Experience the basics of 3D printing in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Find out about 3D design, the programs used to communicate with the printer, and have your questions answered. Also, spend some time hands-on with example items that have been printed, and watch the printer in action. Registration required.

Crazy Mixed Up Crafts 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 9. Drop in and use random craft supplies to make something cool!

Create a Stop Motion Video for ages 12-18, 1-4 p.m. Monday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 12. Try out our new equipment and make your own stop motion video! Sign up for one day or two! Registration required.

Raspberry Pi Demonstration 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 11. The Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It can be used in electronics projects, playing HD video and for running software you’d see on a desktop PC. Drop in any time and interact with exciting uses of this amazing and versatile technology.

Silly Time Story Time with Lea Craine for ages 2-6, 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12.

Yoga for Kids 1-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 13. Join us for a Yoga class led by instructor Angel Godzik. Yoga helps the mind and body work together to improve well-being. A yoga mat, towel, or sticky socks are recommended but not required to participate.

Giant Games 12-3 p.m. Thursday, July 14. We’ll have ginat versions of some of your favorite games set up in the library. Join us to play Giant Sorry!, Connect Four, and CandyLand, as well as smaller versions of many others!

Summer Themed Coaster and Shaving Cream Card for ages 18+, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, July 18. Stamp and paint a tumbled tile to make a summer themed coaster. Then make a summer card stamping with shaving cream. Registration required.

Ready, Set, Draw… for ages 8 and up, 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 19. Learn to draw in a few easy steps.

Balloon Workshop for ages 6-12, 2-3 p.m. Monday, July 25. Learn basic balloon twists and make cool balloon sculptures. Presented by Lea Craine.

Patriotic Basket Class for adults, 4-6:30 p.m. Monday, July 25 and Wednesday, July 27. Make a beautiful patriotic basket to take home with you. Registration required.

Creative Movement for ages 2-6, 11-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 26. Join us to stretch, bounce, wiggle and have fun! Presented by Ann Noble.

Lego StoryStarters for ages 7-12, 12-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27. Work in groups to write a story, illustrate it with Legos, and publish it using Lego StoryStarter on the iPad. Registration required.

Harry Potter Party for ages 10-18, 2-4 p.m. Thursday, July 28. Celebrate Harry’s birthday with games, crafts, and snacks. Registration required.

Paper Mosaic Craft 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 30. Drop in to make a paper mosaic craft.
