DAYTON — The Xenia Masonic Temple will host a Community Blood Center (CBC) blood drive 2-6 p.m. Monday, July 28 in the temple meeting room, 223 Corwin Ave. Everyone who registers to donate will receive the free “Donoritaville – Relax, lei back, donate… Givin’ is easy!” T-shirt. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment at www.DonorTime.com.

The tropical-colored T-shirt design features a parrot in straw hat and lei clutching an ice cream cone. The Donoritaville T-shirt is free to everyone who registers to donate through Aug. 2 and any CBC Donor Center and most CBC mobile blood drives.

CBC’s “Summer Cruze-In 2014 Blood Drive” is in full swing. Everyone age 18 and older who registers to donate at any CBC Donor Center or CBC mobile blood drive through Sept. 30 will be automatically entered in the drawing to win a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. The “champagne silver” color of the Cruze is a toast to CBC’s “50 Years of Saving Lives” anniversary celebration in September.

CBC has extended its traditional summer blood drive campaign to four months (through Sept. 30) and is also allowing eligible donors to enter the drawing a second time when they register for a second donation during the blood drive period. Official rules are available at www.givingblood.org.
