JAMESTOWN — Greeneview Middle School announces April Students of the Month. Recognized were: Grade 8 – Molly Nixon; Grade 7 – Lillian Linkhart; Grade 6 – James Saunders; Grade 5 – Cheyenne Horvath.
Molly Nixon, nominated by her reading teacher Ms. Mercer, “has a heart for others. She coordinated the letter writing for the Veterans that was done during Ram Pride. She is always willing to help the teachers with papers passed back or errands. Molly is a solid friend to others.”
Lillian Linkhart, nominated by her social studies teacher Mrs. McKinney, does excellent work in class. She is an active listener, is respectful and goes beyond what has been assigned. “Lillian has a good attitude and always puts forth a great effort.”
James Saunders, nominated by his science teacher, Mrs. Evans, has a wonderfully creative side. In science class this comes in very handy. “He is a pleasure because he is right there with you wanting to soak in as much as he can. He not only wants to do well himself, but helps others to become successful as well. Thanks for all you do.”
Cheyenne Horvath, nominated by her teacher Mrs. Cross, is an excellent student. “She always tries her best. Her hand is always up to answer questions or to volunteer to read aloud. Cheyenne goes back to find her mistakes and to learn from them. She enjoys learning and wants to do well in school.”
Greeneview Middle School administration and staff congratulated the students for their accomplishments.
