FAIRBORN — An arrest warrant was issued Friday for a man police believe is connected with a meth lab discovered during a house fire.
Fairborn fire crews were dispatched to 1006 1/2 Victoria Ave. around 12:30 a.m. March 6 on a report of a structure fire in a garage that had been converted into an apartment. Fairborn police were called in and located items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine inside the residence.
The Ace Task Force, the Ohio Bureau of Investigation, Fairborn Police Department and Fairborn Fire Department removed the chemicals and evidence to render the location safe.
A warrant has been issued for Robert K. Adams, 35, for one count of illegal manufacture of drugs, a felony of the 2nd degree and one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a felony of the 3rd degree.
Adams’ last known address is 1134 Lexington Ave. in Fairborn.
