Police search for Marathon robbery suspect

FAIRBORN — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a gas station early Friday morning.

Fairborn officers responded to a robbery at the Marathon gas station at 10 West Dayton Drive at 6:58 a.m. Feb. 14. According to police, a male suspect entered the store, holding his jacket in a manner to appear that he had a gun, and approached the clerk.

The suspect demanded money and the clerk complied. The suspect exited the store and fled on foot. No one was injured.

The male suspect was wearing face paint covering his face. He is described as standing 5- foot 10-inches to 6-foot tall, of stocky build, wearing a black coat over a brown Hollister jacket, and wearing a knit cap.
